Dienst Justitiële Inrichtingen

The Dienst Justitiële Inrichtingen (correctional facilities service) executes sentences and detentions orders that were imposed by a judge. DJI is responsible for the day-to-day care of convicts, and works together with them in many different ways to prepare them for their return to society.
